Global Grain Geneva 2019

From 12 to 14 November 2019, the Taliban Akim and Alexander Lotov visited Global  Grain  Geneva,  the largest annual event in Europe dedicated to grain trade. This conference is one of the main places to get information about the market in real time and get acquainted with new partners for business.

The conference was attended by managers across the supply chain – grain producers, millers, feed/food/beverage producers, traders and brokers, as well as specialists in finance, shipping, law and the technology that supports them. There were over 80 speakers and over 30 sessions,  including Dan  Basse's assessment of the 2019 harvest season and trade forecasts for 2020. There were around  1,000 attendees  from 65 countries, including more than 100 procurement executives from major grain processing and food/feed companies – so wherever you focus on the global market,  you would find potential new trading partners. 
Companies such as  Mondelez,AB  InBev,ADM,  Cargill,United Grain Company,  Nibulon,  Louis  Dreyfus,  AllSeeds,ED&F  Man,  Wadi  Groupwerepresent.

Presentations were made at the event, which were accompanied by discussions, and the following issues were discussed:
 - Food  traceability  and sustainability 
 - In-depth analysis of physical and financial trade markets - Impact of feed production on grain trade -
 Analysis of 
 the 2019 harvest season and forecasts for 2020
