Manager of the Altay AGS Artyom Loginov gave his comments to the "Moscow Komsomol on Altay" about Altay grain in the UAE.
One of the rarest types of the exported crops is vicia which is a tiny, round, black grain that looks like a pea.
"Majority of Altay farmers are interested in why are they even growing this type of crop. We are sending it to the UAE where it is mostly consumed by songbirds of Arabic Sheikhs. It must be black and only black. If the birds eat a brown grain, their feathers will lose their color." - said Artyom.
